Course Content

Define Phase

Understanding Six Sigma fundamentals, project selection and scoping, developing a project charter, identifying Voice of the Customer (VOC), SIPOC diagrams, and stakeholder analysis.

Measure Phase

Process mapping and documentation, data collection planning, measurement system analysis, calculating process capability (Cp, Cpk), and establishing baseline performance metrics.

Analyse Phase

Root cause analysis techniques, cause-and-effect diagrams, Pareto analysis, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and identifying critical factors affecting process performance.

Improve Phase

Generating and evaluating improvement solutions, design of experiments (DOE) fundamentals, piloting solutions, risk assessment using FMEA, and implementation planning.

Control Phase

Statistical process control (SPC), control charts, developing control plans, standardising improved processes, and sustaining gains through monitoring and documentation.

Assessment & Certification

Assessment

Participants are assessed through written examinations and practical exercises throughout the course, demonstrating their ability to apply Six Sigma tools and the DMAIC methodology.
