In-depth review of energy management principles, energy policy and planning, the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, and a comprehensive examination of all ISO 50001:2018 clause requirements.

Energy Performance & Significant Energy Uses

Understanding energy baselines, energy performance indicators (EnPIs), significant energy uses (SEUs), energy data collection and analysis, and opportunities for energy performance improvement.

Audit Planning & Preparation

Developing audit programmes, conducting pre-audit and desktop reviews, assessing energy-related risks and opportunities, defining audit scope and objectives, and preparing process-based checklists in accordance with ISO 19011 and ISO/IEC 17021.

Conducting the Audit

Performing opening meetings, conducting facility inspections, evaluating energy controls and monitoring systems, gathering and evaluating objective evidence, applying effective interview techniques, and managing audit team activities.

Reporting, Closing & Follow-Up

Writing and grading nonconformity reports, preparing audit conclusions and recommendations, conducting closing meetings, managing corrective actions, and understanding the certification decision process.

Examination & Continuous Assessment

To successfully complete this course, participants are required to pass both a written examination and continuous assessment. The continuous assessment evaluates practical competence through exercises, case studies, and role-play audit scenarios conducted throughout the programme.

Certificate of Achievement
