Introduction to AI governance concepts, the regulatory landscape for AI, and a comprehensive overview of ISO/IEC 42001:2023 structure, requirements, and the relationship with other management system standards.

AIMS Planning & Context

Understanding the organisation's context for AI, identifying interested parties, determining AIMS scope, establishing AI policy and objectives, and planning the implementation approach using the Plan-Do-Check-Act cycle.

AI Risk Assessment & Impact Assessment

Developing and applying AI risk assessment methodologies, conducting AI system impact assessments, identifying AI-specific risks (bias, fairness, transparency, accountability), and establishing risk treatment plans.

Implementing Annex A Controls

Detailed implementation guidance for the 38 Annex A controls including AI policies, AI system lifecycle management, data governance, human oversight, third-party management, and responsible AI practices. Developing the Statement of Applicability.

Monitoring, Measurement & Continual Improvement

Establishing performance monitoring and measurement for the AIMS, conducting internal audits, management reviews, handling nonconformities and corrective actions, and preparing for the certification audit process.

Assessment & Certification

Assessment

Participants are assessed through a combination of written examinations and practical exercises conducted throughout the course, demonstrating their ability to apply ISO/IEC 42001:2023 requirements and lead an AIMS implementation project.

Certificate of Completion
