Audit Standards & Methodology

Detailed study of ISO 19011:2018 guidelines for auditing management systems and ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements. Understanding audit types, audit principles, and the roles and responsibilities of BCMS auditors and lead auditors.

Business Impact Analysis & Risk Assessment

Understanding how to audit business impact analysis processes, risk assessment methodologies, incident response procedures, and recovery strategies. Evaluating the adequacy of BC plans and resource requirements.

Conducting the BCMS Audit

Performing opening meetings, gathering and evaluating objective evidence, applying effective interview techniques, assessing exercising and testing programmes, identifying nonconformities, and managing audit team activities.

Reporting, Closing & Follow-Up

Writing and grading nonconformity reports, preparing audit conclusions and recommendations, conducting closing meetings, managing corrective actions, and understanding the BCMS certification decision process.

Examination & Continuous Assessment

To successfully complete this course, participants are required to pass both a written examination and continuous assessment. The continuous assessment evaluates practical competence through exercises, case studies, and role-play audit scenarios conducted throughout the programme.
